Dear All

Happy Valentines day to all you diehard romantics put there, for those of you not so worried about romance we have some exciting additions for our Roman range coming soon, this time in the form of a mounted warrior and two archers. Following on from these we will have an 'after the battle' set of figures and what happens to those who oppose Rome! News of these to follow in the next month or so.

A pleasant Valentine's surprise but must admit I was hoping for some images of the new Greeks.

Certainly some nicely designed barbarians; esp. like the archers. Think these would work with the Dacians?

Maybe it's the way the hair has fallen over the severed head on the first horseman photo, but it looks a bit like Adolf Hitler !

Sorry to add a rivet counting comment about the archers, since they do look good with the exception of the heeled hobnailed boots they appear to be wearing !
Though I'm sure a quick run over with a file and a spot of paint would disguise any trace of those.

Any news on when we'll be seeing Major Bigeard set in the Indochina range for sale ?

Steve

Personally, these are some Romans I'd like to see made along with the baggage train mules. Some Romans in mail and earlier style helmets would add a little variety to your Legions, instead of them always being in literally identical helmets and Segmentata. It would add a little more realism to the overall look.

This is a good idea, we will be adding some different Roman uniform types to our series later on.

Hi Steve
This sculpt actually quite old so its the first version, I believe we removed the hobnails from the improved second version, alas we did leave the heels on!
Thanks for pointing it out, will make sure its not on future Barbarians.
Bigeard and his crew are coming soon, possibly April time.

Cheers Jack.
Always good to have another look things over whatever our trades may be !
Look forward to seeing all these released.
