That's a nice collection of Second World War aircraft and USAAF personnel you have there! Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

A wonderful presentation. :salute:::salute:::salute:::salute:::salute::

At the beginning of my career as an art librarian 41 years ago, one of the custodians at the library where i was working had been a member of the ground crew servicing P-38s at Kingscliffe. i was into making airplane models in those days so he was a lot of fun to talk too. He would have enjoyed your scene.

Thanks all, and thanks Randy for letting me know about the custodian at the library and former ground crewman at Kingscliffe. Over the years I've had the privilege of being able to talk to several WWII airmen here in my hometown and some of them have passed on now, but it was great to hear the stories they told of their personal experiences in the skies over Europe.

Nice group of pictures highlighting what I think is one of the most underrated lines that K&C make. One of my favourite things to collect are planes and their supporting ground crews from both the Axis and Allies in WWII. I'm very curious to see what releases are upcoming for the USAAF, RAF, Luftwaffe, etc. K&C's warbirds really show well with those pieces. :cool:
