Hi!:) I was wondering if somebody could give me some help. I'm in the process of building a Pearl Harbor dio with the current K&C USN and USMC figures at dawn, right before the attack. Does anyone know if the pilots could fit into this scene?

All the Best!

Vick[/QUOTE IMO fitting the current KC USAF figures into a Pearl Harbor scenario won't work. The KC figures are 8th AF, ETO figures from 1944 era and are dressed as such with leather coats and appropriate insignia. These unis are entirely inaccurate for Pearl Harbor. Summer uniforms are required as are insignia changes. But this is JMO as a rivet counter. -- lancer

Did I get the month mixed up or shouldn't these be out already? January is quickly drawing to a close.

I agree with one further rivet added; there were no USAF pilots in 1941 or 1944.;) From June 1941 to September 1947, our air force as known as the US Army Air Force or USAAF. Prior to that it was the USAAC. My father was in the USAAF but I was in the USAF.:)

Good rivet and nice catch. The USAAC was a great time period for aircraft and color schemes. Love the pre-war paint jobs.:D -- Al
