I was given a number of metal soldiers a while back. They were boxed, but the fellow who gave me these, kept the boxes. They came out of a fishing tackle shop in NJ back in the early 1990's. They were old stock the shop owners were disposing of, as they were closing down.

I am curious as to the maker and the period in which they may have been produced. They are in drab colors but finished glossy. Thanks for any opinions and input!

Tom

Those figures are Barclay Pod Foot figures made in the late 50's early 60's. Barclay from New Jersey made larger Dime store figures then went to the pod foots near the end of production. I have them and enjoy their figures, more like American folk art. They also made some of the same poses in plastic. John
