Here is a site from the National Guard Bureau;

http://www.ngb.army.mil/resources/photo_gallery/heritage/gal.htm

This is a gallery of painting that have been done over the years to commemorate the history of America's citizen-soldiers. In the gallery, click on a painting and it will be displayed along with historical notes and a link to download a larger copy.

With the wide variety of interests on this Forum I thought that somebody might be interested. My favorites are "Cornrow to Hedgerow" as it shows the Nebraska National Guard's 134th Infantry Regiment in action and the "Battle of Mortain" as I want to do a display of a 57mm AT gun in action. I had a concept and when I saw the painting I realized that it's like what I want to create.

Enjoy,

Gary B.

Really excellent site. Some great pictures there.

The hedgerow painting is one of my favorites of Keith's work in the series.
The shame of it is, that while I was working for Conte we could have done that as a set, but there wasn't any interest in it at the time.
