To say several things.

Firstly, for me the enjoyment of collecting K&C products continues to grow and grow year after year.I still think they make the best figures available and the quality just gets better and better.I can think of no other company who can offer such a wide choice of subject (even within my WW2 area of interest)and still offer such depth, realism and quality.

Secondly i think 2009 will be a superb collecting year.I think all of us K&C collectors and especially WW2 collectors are in for some real treats next year,i'm saving like crazy as we speak!.

I'd also like to say that although times are hard in the global financial situation, my collecting hobby offers a very welcome respite from the endless bad news that is pumped out through our tv's day after day.Even in the harshest of time we all need a break from the real world now and again and as long as we don't lose sight of true suffering in the world theres no reason we can't enjoy our hobby.

Finally i'd like to wish everyone on this forum and everyone at K&C and K&C UK a wonderful Christmas and a great 2009.Lets hope its not as bad as everyone says it will be.

Best wishes to all.

Rob

Rob,

On your 8000th post, can I be the first to say......

you need to get out more mate. :p

Seriously, congratulations on being consistently one of the good guys on the forum, for your posts, which are thought provoking, informative or amusing and sometimes all three. It's a pleasure having you around here.

Have a good 'un Rob.

Cheers
Simon

Congrats from me too Rob! One of the first to welcome me onto the forum, and I suspect that there are many others that could say the same thing.

PS More early war FJ's for 09! Actually, some repaints of the new FJs would do nicely.

Thank you Ron,considering i would have been one of those pesky Brits stood in your way to Brussels that means a lot!.You are indeed a generous commander;).We can only be thankful Napoleon gave his cavalry to Ney and not to you, else i'd be eating croissants for breakfast instead of this lovely sausage, egg and bacon roll! ;)

Sometimes I wonder if you ever sleep Rob. Everytime I come on I seem to find a new post from you. But I do enjoy reading them and I doubt I would be as interested to check back in if I wasnt waiting to see what youd posted next.

I'm with Simon on this one Rob, you need to get out more. Take the lovely wife out for a nice day sightseeing, say at the K&C, UK facilities . . . :D:p;)

All kidding aside Rob, it has been a pleasure getting to know you over the last 4 years, through the good times and the (thankfully based on a fear your wife's physicians were able to dispel) bad.:cool:

When you hit your 10,000th post, perhaps Queen Shannon will knight you:eek::D

I would like to congradulate a fellow First World War student on reaching 8000 missions into no-mans-land. As was once said, "Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts...". -- lancer
