There are some nice sets of photos of WW2 in the Pacific in the National Park Service site below. If you have "broadband" connections, you can wander through the various albums and sub-albums. A number of good shots of USMC (and some Army) in action, tanks, artillery, etc. Another whole album cover aircraft nose art.
