Yeah, read that and of course he is from TEXAS. But seriously, I remember when I was overseas AFN would put a 15 sec history tid bit in between shows about him and other unsung heroes of different American conflicts. Its a good story and likewise sad he perished at sea along with his shipmates during the Pacific war.
