V008A -- Luftwaffe Guard with Dog (1 Viewer)

I picked up V008A (Luftwaffe Guard with Dog) yesterday from Sierra (special thanks to Evan of Sierra for finding one for me). It is one of the best Thomas Gunn or toy soldier pieces I have ever seen. I love dogs and any toy soldier set that includes one so no matter whom the manufacturer is I generally buy them. What sets this one apart for me is the actual soldier. Sure the dog is also extraordinary, but the face on the guard is what stands out. The lines, expression and coloring are spectacular. The stance, coat etc. are also incredible. When all is said this item is a must-have.

I have the figure here right in front of me . I bought it first of all because I had the same dog some years ago ( still have a dog but no longer a German shepherd) I agree it is a very nice figure . Delicately sculptured, physical proportions of man and dog are all right and much better than in other figures we have seen recently and well painted .I think it is a figure coming from the new factory TG uses. Keep on the good work TG
