I agree with you Winston. Conte's Thunderbolt Catapult is a fabulous piece. Conte makes excellent medieval siege engines. I too have the Thunderbolt Catapult and also their ballista, for use in my Crusades diorama. The Crusades is my era of interest, so I don't collect the Viking figures, except for a small few that compliment the siege equipment. I just ordered another ballista last week. Got the first one about two years ago, just after it was first released. I had Conte's battering ram "I Hear Ya' Knockin'", for about a year. It's also a great piece, but as my diorama developed, I decided the ram didn't really work well with the way the diorama was evolving. The thing is a foot long, so it takes up a lot of space. It comes with two great figures and about 20 little arrows that you can stick into the hides on top. When the catapult and ballista were released, Conte was supposed to be coming out with a really substantial siege tower, but it never materialized. Perhaps it will show up on the scene sometime up the road.
