Hi
I have just painted up eight of the Armies in Plastic 1/32nd French pre-1812 period figures as Swiss Valaison Battalion soldiers who served Napoleon. They are colourful chaps in yellow coats with red facings and mine are light company Voltigeurs with green epaulettes and plumes.
Does anyone know what the cockade colours were on the shako - I have pictures and old drawings, but the subjects have removed their shakos so as to show their faces properly in portrait?
I have a drummer in his blue coat with white facings.
I will post photos when done
Regards,
