First Legion is pleased to present the latest vehicle for our Battle of Stalingrad figure range, the iconic SdKfz 7 8 Ton Prime Mover of the 14th Panzer Division! This incredibly detailed vehicle is has been a long time coming as we had always meant to produce it to tow GERSTAL021A sFH 18 150mm Howitzer. When we created that gun in 2011, we purposely designed it so that the gun trails opened and closed and we provided the complete limber setup to go with it because we knew down the road we would provide this superb towing vehicle. So limber up and get those guns on the move! This extremely detailed and accurate model has a wide variety of configuration options making it perfect for displays either on the move or stationary and it comes with a wonderfully painted driver figure as well as options for both a retracted roof or fully closed roof display. When displayed stationary, sets GERSTAL030 and 31 are wonderful complements to it as they can be loading up the rear compartments which fully open and close on both sides of the model. Further, we have created a new Vehicle Stowage set GERSTAL048 that has been designed to fit perfectly into the rear metal racks of this model (though it can of course be used with other vehicles as well). Finally, sets GERSTAL033 and GERSTAL044 Seated Passengers fit perfectly in the back as shown. With the roof options, the opening and closing storage compartments on both sides, the spare rifles in the passenger compartment rifle racks, and a wonderfully painted driver, this vehicle is certainly our finest effort to date. With so many fantastic display options, this vehicle will make a wonderful addition to any serious WWII toy soldier collection!

Wow...That is one impressive set-up, especially towing the sFH 18. I am not an FL collector, but i can fully understand you guys that are!!!!!!.

Very nice Prime Mover! The 222 in the background is a must have! The only thing that concerns me is the price on the Prime Mover hitting $360. If and when FL releases a Tiger what will the price be for that piece? $500?!?!?

As beautiful as this baby is, I sure would like to see this Prime mover in a winter camo, so hoping the guys at First Legion have some other designs for it as well...Sammy

Not sure, but it looks like the 222 has 2 varations of drivers?? one looks to be looking up while the other is looking forward?? does anyone else it?...Sammy

I hate to see prices go up, but this is a monster of a vehicle with alot of great detail involved in it (including driver) and it's the biggest piece as far as WWII that First Legion has done so I can understand the price point, do I like to pay more?? NO, will I get it?? absolutely!! I have been a very good boy this year so who knows maybe Santa will leave it under my tree:)...Sammy

There appear to be two versions of the 222. Hopefully one will be 24th PZ! One has the armoured grills closed, the other with the grills opened and the 20mm elevated. Wonder if grill and guns are fixed, or whether they can be opened and elevated?

Hopefully some more Soviets are in the reinforcement chain!

It looks great, I'm really hoping there will be some winter versions of these vehicles, and some winter troops too. Tom

I'm hoping to get one in the new year as I have plenty on the plate at the moment on other sets, but looking forward to seeing it soon in some great photos...Sammy
