Very Early Pvblivs Figure (1 Viewer)

I just found this listing for a very early, and rather crude figure from Pvblivs. It's a mounted Gaul and comes in red, green and black. It is no longer available on that website, but I thought it might be interesting for any Pvblivs collectors out there to see. The horse is probably the worst 54mm horse ever made. It looks more like a child's rocking horse without the rockers, but the man is moderately passable (if somewhat flat and short-legged) and looks like he could be used as a standing figure as well.

Pvblivs certainly has come a long way since whenever this figure was produced.

The horse reminds me of "Pokey", "Gumby's" sidekick.{sm2}

Well that explains the unusual horse design! I like them. They have a nice childhood nostalgia feel, even though they were thousands of miles away behind the Iron Curtain during my childhood. They look like the Soviet version of Lido figures. The Pvblivs figures blend right in with the original series.
