Hi,

Not sure where to post this? However I am interested in VID Soldier castings. I can find them under a seller on ebay but have been unable to find a dedicated website to buy direct from. Does anyone know of this company or have relevant details. I believe they are probably Russian and from what I have seen mainly do Napoleonics.

I have been in contact with Vadimir over a year or two after seeing his work shown in this Forum.

His company got the Napoleonic era moulds of German maker MiniWelt and have been producing figures from them and seeing them on ebay.

Last year I wanted to get some extra parts for some old Miniwelt castings I had, and he said he could supply them. I then ordered about 6 more sets which i have now assembled and painted. All of the transactions were done via email, but payment had to be done with Western Union, which as not as convenient as PayPal.

All the goods arrived, safely packed, but took some time due to the postal problems. I'm not sure about the post these days from Ukraine.

You send him a PM via this Forum and discuss anything about the figures.
