I started this Diorama, a ayear ago and now it is coming to completion.
Just need the NZ SAS, Aust MP set, and Saigon Sally on her Moped, as well
as a few Land Rovers, have been waiting a very long time for those.
Started as a flat piece of board with a few soldiers, and now this is it.

Certainly a labour of love. This has come together so well. Think you may have to find room for some civilians tomorrow night’s new releases. Can see your project close to completion now. A lot to take in. Robin.

Thanks Robin.
This series has been very good, still lots of possibilities.

A visual delight with numerous scenes combining well together. A great collection with you having multiples of artillery, vehicles and figures. The scenery is well done also. Congratulations on a splendid diorama. Greg.

It's great to see this project coming to completion, you have done a great job, and thanks for showing it off to us.

I love seeing the section of 105's there in support, and I'm looking forward to seeing those other extras in position over the coming months,

well done,

John

Big and amazing diorama...And a wonderful forest ...The most difficult ladscape to build.:salute::

Hi mate it's certainly very busy!

What's happening in it?

Scott
The idea behind this diorama is 1ST Marines have been ambushed and have popped orange smoke to show their position.
I have D Coy 6 RAR/NZ Anzac Battalion advancing on the left flank with Aust MP s searching civillians.
I also have Marines with a APC trying to outflank a NVA and VC position.
In the centre I have Centurions tanks advancing up the road and about to make contact with a NVA tank, NZSAS Ranger Squadron in support.
On the right flank, I have 161 Battery RNZA firing at advancing NVA.
Top right flank, I have X Ray Coy deployed from APCs advancing to get to the Marines position.

I have roughly 1200 plants, including bamboo, all hand painted, looking forward to more palm trees being releasede.

Exceptionally well done Rob!
I hope you’ve left some space for our ANZAC Special Air Service blokes appearing tomorrow!!!
All the best mate...and disappointed we didn’t get to meet up in Sydney this year.
Oh well there’s always 2021 to look forward to,
Andy.
