Hey guys, someone had reported that Andy had mentioned a Vietnam gun truck in the future.I was hoping it would be an armored 6x6 like an m54.However with this talk of the Aussie truck that TGM just released, was that in fact the “gun truck” we were/are to get in the future?

Hi there...Both vehicles are in development with the Land Rover further down the track because it’s considerably smaller.
Hope this helps, all the best,
Andy.

That Gatling electric gun is some formidable weapon, a must on any vehicle. Robin.

A Gun Truck will be a huge addition to the VN line. Better plan on making a lot of them Andy!

FYI! If interested in seeing a Real Gun Truck there is one on display at the "Combat Zone" Volo Antique Car Museum ,Volo Illinois. The 'Combat Zone' is a Military museum attached to the Auto Museum. As I understand it the one on display supposedly was built or shipped state side and used as a Training Vehicle? There might even be a picture of it on the museums web site?

Just checked on the website ,and there is no picture of the Gun Truck. If you ever find yourself in the Chicago land area it is really worth the trip to visit the volo museums!

Gun trucks used along the cambod border seemed to be done one at a time,,no real pattern,,what was available from mounts to armor,,one discussed issue was the willingness of the other side to take one for all those weapons,,brave men on Hwy 13gun-truck-vietnam-7.jpg
