Ken Burns is doing another documentary for PBS. This one on the Vietnam War. His WWII series was a disappointment in my opinion. This one is something like 10+ hours.

Agree on WW II. I'm sure this will be interesting. Let's hope it's better.

So was "Baseball". "The Civil War" is his best, in my opinion. It set a new standard for documentary films. You can see its influence in series that followed, like "The American Revolution".

It certainly did set the standard. I haven't seen a documentary series as good since that one.

Yeah maybe but I probably saw all the footage on TV from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Monday thru Friday when it happened.
 
Ditto to that.

Not sure I feel the need to relive those years when I was growing up in the 60s.
