Keep the Vikings coming Mr. Jenkins. Collection is up to 52 figures. Still room for more. The latest releases are simply superb.

Howard...
the MM Berserker was my first Viking also...
I now have 7 with the newest one ordered...
John is making great figures at a good price...
I'm collecting all and only hope the grouping will eventually be somewhat as large as the Anglo Saxon series...
I love all the different faces...
he has really captured what I was hoping for...

Very impressive Howard. As you would know, I have a real passion for Vikings and that display of yours is one of the best things i've seen for quite a while. At first glance some of the figures are foreign to me but i'm sure i will be able to recognize them. Thanks for the message and looks like you have started off the new year well. Regards Greg.

I agree with you, i came a little late to the Viking and Saxon ranges, bought my first 3 Vikings and 3 Saxons in Dec and have just ordered the new Viking and 3 more Saxons. I am looking at the Saxons and Viking era diorama and i agree with you they will look excellent as a larger grouping as well as small groups and as individual figures they look incredible. Will we get a Uhtred of Bebbanburg figure?

Great collection and photos. I think JJD Saxons and Vikings are the best on the market

Howard;

I am impressed and envious...quite a collection of some of the best.
Thank you for posting.

I take it, there is general consensus that SX-10
from the December releases is a Uthred of Bebbanburg figure!

Niels

Thanks a lot for the info, just looked at the figure and can see why, he does look like the TV character], I read the last book in the series in 2020, within 48 hours of its release, great series of books, pity it ended but at least we have a new Sharpe book in 2021.
As i said i came late to this series and i am not up to date on the range, I have read a lot about the period and had the opportunity to stand in or close to the battle sites, including Lindisfarne, Stamford Bridge [which is a relatively newer bridge but right location] and Brunanburh [admittedly there is a dispute but the site i visited was on the Wirral]. My decision to collect came late as i decided to stop collecting certain other [non-JJ] ranges and move my collection back to ranges where there were more toy soldiers rather than vehicles. Plus this is an outstanding range.
