I was re-reading my copy of "Villers-Bocage Through The Lens" and it occurred to me there may be a Wittmann fan, or a Tiger I fan, or a British armor fan, or etc. that is not familier with this book. Written by Dan Taylor and published by After The Battle in 1999, this is the definitive photographic and written history of this historic action. Most of the photos of the action were taken by German war photographers after the action and the book breaks these (100) photos down by location and time sequence. Many other photos are included of the personalities on both sides. Most importantly, the book explodes the myth of this action as it has come down through history. It is well worth having in your WW2 collection. -- lancer
