Here is a photo (I am a real amatuer with the camera) of my royal Horse Artillery (Set no. 39) still tied in ROAN box.

One of my prize sets -- but someday when the wife decides its time for me to go to the nursing home to live -- I will tell her to contact you.

P.S. -- as shown in the photo -- in this vintage set by Britains -- no plates on the horses!!!!
 
I would tempted to untie the pieces, assemble them and play with the set................The RHA sets are one of Britains masterpieces...............

I agree -- but just don't have the heart (or stomach) to cut the string --maybe unite it if I am very careful.
 
Thanks for all the great comments -- but my only part in this set -- was "shellin out" the money to acquire it -- WBritains did all the rest.

Yes but don't sell your roll short in this little saga. You purchased it, and preserved it for future generations to enjoy.

Britians has changed hands, but your set takes people back to the day it was
brand new, waiting for that special buyer.
