A couple years ago, I purchased a built example of a vintage Monogram Panzerjaeger IV (Jagdpanzer IV) kit. This is one of the only proper 1/32 scale models of the Jagdpanzer IV and hasn’t seen any new rereleases since the 1970s. The model I purchased originally had a paint scheme and some other features that were inaccurate and which always bugged me. I finally decided to repaint it with a more accurate scheme for an early-model Jagdpanzer IV L/70. It does not represent any particular vehicle and is just a generalized representation. Tamiya paints and weathering powders as well as Ammo Mig washes were used. I did keep some of the original builder’s work, particularly the paint/weathering on the wheels and tracks. Below are pics of my finished results.
