Paris, you lucky dog (Quoted from Brad in a different thread).
Hey guys,
If you ever find yourselves in transit through Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, get yourselves down to The Sheraton Hotel at the intersection of Terminal 1 & 2. On the lobby floor opposite the elevators there's one of the hotel restaurants. Check out what I found just adjacent to the restaurant entrance.
The web address is;
www.theaircraftcollection.com
Sorry the photos are not great quality, they were taken with my mobile phone camera, through the plate glass. I think the Spitfire is 1/24 and the Dakota is around 1/48 scale.
Aren't they beautiful? I actually like the way the manufacturer has left them in a lacquered wood finish and hasn't tried to paint a camo scheme on them. I haven't looked at the website yet, but I would think that the cost would scare the average credit card into intensive care.
