Sometimes I do begin to believe that there's justice in this world. I drove down to a city called Provins from Paris this morning, and when I got here discovered that our client doesn't require the pleasure of my presence until around lunchtime tomorrow. So I decided to have a walk around and soak up the atmosphere in this typically Northern French Town. The first 2 photos below are just to give TFers a taste of the sights, but read on my fine fellows and check out what I found in a shop.
The shop was shut, so again the photos aren't great cos they were taken with my mobile phone camera and through the plate glass window.
That Knights of the Round Table display is stunning. The table costs 136Euros and each figure is 39Euros. The scale looks around 1/16 to me.
The Napoleonics are 45Euros each and look to be around 1/12 scale. If only I had;
a) The Money
b) The Room In My Luggage
I'm going to try and visit the shop when its open and try to get better photos - and find out who the manufacturer is and their website - cos I want that RT display big time.
Will pass on the info if I can find it out.
The town itself seems sleepy enough. Won't last once I hit the hotspots later tonight.....
