We are also pleased to present our long awaited follow up to our Vietnam range! To oppose our 25th USA Infantry we are pleased to add to the range the first of the Vietnamese, in this case North Vietnamese Army infantry. With the same high quality as the USA, these figures can be used for most NVA Infantry regiments throughout the course of the war. With the addition of these new figures, interesting diorama opportunities begin to emerge in the jungles and paddies of Southeast Asia!

YEY, it is here. Just in time to be had on Christmas. My American Forces has somebody else to shoot at than my Romans. I am so stoked about this. And they are worth the wait.

Fellow First Legion collectors,

I do not collect this range but for those of you who do, these look spectacular! What else do you come to expect from Matt and the First Legion team!

Prost,

Alex

Yup, my thoughts exactly. I can see a few of these under the Christmas tree and a battle with my Americans commencing sometime before New Years!

They will certainly be under my Christmas tree, and then on the go to engage my US FL troops disembarking a Figarti Huey... :wink2:

I think the new NVA soldiers are great and I hope the guy's collecting the Vietnam range snap them up. Unfortunately I have said to myself that I can't spend that much on a single figure any more and will have to drop out of most First Legions lines these days. Great stuff F/L and keep producing great figures. Chris.:salute::

I saw these in person at Sierra last weekend, they are incredible. I highly recommend them, especially any of the figures that incorporate RPG’s.

I have been considering some of the FL Vietnam range lately.... Would it not be great to have a Sgt Kilgore figure next to that Figarti Huey or even a Colonal Kurtz (The Horror)...:wink2:

I like them..but what are those little things on the hats of the RPG men?look like pins!

I will try and take a look at them tonight to see if I can figure it out.

I think they portray something real ...but to me the hats look like fishermen hats with baits attached..XD by the way, seriously speaking, Vietnam figures are wonderful and the range could be enlarged (the unofficial Platoon figures are nice but who is Elias ? I'd buy it if it was made..) with more movies to draw inspiration from. What about Hue marine figures? Also Vietcong figures...and ARVN...

I had a look at this line today up close and must say they really are nicely done the Vietnamese look scary good, would not hesitate to recommend them to discerning collectors who collect the period. I almost bought the Sgt. Barnes lookalike figure just because it looked so cool.. regards Gebhard

The "Sgt. Barnes " figure was the first one I ordered , and as you said its cool and a great looking miniature. And Will say that if someone would buy just one figure from the line, this would be the one.

Like I said I'm really considering it myself just as a stand alone piece, I tell you if I was interested in Nam I'd have every figure in this line plus the Figarti Huey. regards Gebhard

Do it Gebs!
I've got to agree, the Barnes figure is the best of a great bunch, the likeness is superb, even if it's just as a stand alone piece.

HI Simon,
Thanks for the confirmation :salute::, I'm really considering it. I do this with a few of the First Legion lines that I don't collect. I just pick out what I feel are the standout figures from the line, ones which I find really appealing to me and display them together it's sort of like a warriors through time display. regards Gebhard

I took a look at mine this weekend and I can't figure out what they are. They remind me of the fishing lures that Colonel Blake had on his hat in the M*A*S*H TV show.

In any event does anyone know if the Vietnam line will be expanding in 2014? It is one of my favorites and I can’t wait for more.

Those are the best figures I have ever seen for this conflict. Well done.

I took a good look at these figures today and agree they have got to be the best NV troops on the market...Sammy

Sammy:

I have really enjoyed collecting them so far. I hope it sells well so that the line continues.
