The W. Britain Collectors Club London Evening Event 2014

There are many reasons to join the William Britain Collectors Club; the Standard magazines, new catalogues sent upon publication, a free Club membership figure, vouchers to use against your W. Britain purchases, exclusive limited edition products to purchase and last but not least, the annual members evening reception. Over ten years and still going strong, the event is a wonderful opportunity to meet with fellow collectors and the staff of W. Britain and Bachmann. Find out what W Britain has planned for the coming year and talk to the people behind the brand. Preparations are in full swing to make the evening a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Guests are invited to arrive at the Rifles at 7:00pm for welcome drinks in the bar before moving in to the drill hall at 7:45pm for some delicious canapés and the rest of the evening's entertainment. Our resident historical advisor, Craig Appleton, will be on hand to give a special presentation on the night, as well as W. Britain Creative Director, Kenneth Osen. We also have live period entertainment from the renowned ‘Kas the Forces Sweetheart’ and a selection of other special guests!
There will be a variety of dioramas to view including our WWI trench system and the new Zulu ambulance, as well as a good number of new items exclusively unveiled on the night for our club members. The highly anticipated Silent Bid Auction pieces will also be on display before we announce the winners later in the evening. We have a sneak peak at what Ken Osen has been producing for the London silent bid auction below!
This year's exclusive London event figure (50051C) represents an Ensign carrying the King's Colour of the 1st Battalion of the 60th Regiment of Foot (Royal Americans) as it would have appeared from 1756-1768; this has been commissioned exclusively for club members purchasing a ticket for the evening.
