Hi Everyone,
Just a heads up that the latest figures from Empire are now on sale on our web page http://www.empiremm.co.uk and also of course, via the Treefrog page http://http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/c-3624-world-war-i.aspx
If you were lucky enough to see them in Chicago, you know the detail however, if not, here we go.
W1 - 1415 Features a Belgian Carabinier receiving succor from a brave little Red Cross dog. With this piece we really wanted to add a little humanity and interaction into a very inhumane situation (the battlefield).
W1 - 1416 Has a BEF Tommy loading a single round (and yes, you can see the round in his fingers!) into his SMLE rifle. By using a magazine cut off plate, a sniper could turn the SMLE into a single fire / non auto reload weapon. This young soldier, being the fashion conscious lad he is, has his cap at something of a jaunty angle.
W1 - 1416 See's a BEF Tommy reaching into his 1908 pattern webbing for a clip of 5 rounds to place into his trusty SMLE.
As always, I hope you like what you see and, I am only an e-mail away remember :salute::malcolm@empiremm.co.uk:salute::
