And now the wait begins anew, AGAIN.
First, I waited.
I waited for Honour Bound to announce their new releases after those great Sherman’s and Jagdpanther’ s.
And I waited.
HB announced the new Tiger I in a customized and more expensive style of purchasing.
And I waited some more.
After a bit of time elapsed, I investigated and found some promising pictures and information for a Tiger I would like to have built for me.
And I waited again some more.
I waited to order after I could see the promised first batch pictures.
Still I waited.
Finally Ana posted some pictures of the new Tiger I and I was impressed.
But still I waited.
Then George contacted me and we discussed the new Tigers. At that point I ordered one. (George held a spell on me forcing me to order one. George is very Rasputin in his manner thus leaving me no choice but to order).
So now the wait has a new flavor to it, but I waited.
Emails were sent.
Emails were responded to.
And I waited, this time with more anticipation, after all I had paid for it and it had not even been built yet.
And yet again – still more waiting.
Then the second batch pictures were posted and my anticipation level continued to grow.
But as always, I waited.
Emails were sent.
Emails were responded to.
And the third batch pictures were posted and I was certain mine was among them.
Wrong, more waiting.
Emails were sent.
Emails were responded to.
And as always - more waiting.
And Monday the waiting began to get more bearable. Ana sent me pictures of MY Tiger. Wrong base but still MY Tiger. The tank looked exactly as I had asked them to make it look.
And now the worst form of waiting must begin. The long wait for MY Tiger to finally appear at my door. I know it will be long, Argentina is not next door or even in the same state, hell it’s on a completely different continent.
As so, the wait continues to wait.
But, now I have hope cause one day soon that UPS guy will be knocking on my door with a custom made, one of a kind Tiger I in a box labeled with my name and address.
I am still waiting. Hopefully not long this wait.
