Those sets are really impressive looking. A worthy effort and on the wish list they go.

Matt,

Will the Japanese troops be available separate from the landing craft?
Are they 1/32 scale?

Cheers

Great sets! Are they in 1/30 or 1/32. Good for Japanese Philippine capaign (Lingayen landing) and the Battle of Bataan/Corregidor.

The USAFEE had similar uniforms. Rick, how about some figures reflecting the infamous Bataan Death March?

Answered one of my own questions by the simple act of visiting the HobbyBunker site.
They're 1/30 scale.

Matt:

Are you bringing any of these sets to the Texas Show next Weekend?

Here some promo pictures I found on Figarti’s website, to bad nothing on the Japanese figures or landing craft there yet. BTW, the USMC releases seem to feature the Springfield rifle and the 30 cal. water cooled heavy machine. Now these are two weapons you don’t see much around.

They are 1/30 scale

The japanese will be sold in sets of 3.

1st two sets are leaving china any day.

Rising sun set will be a few dollars more and sets will run around $79.00 for 3 figures.

We have sets WIA-005 and WIA-008 in stock. Set WIA-001 and Set WIA-004 are on the way and expected in June. Japanese more like July. Should have larger items in late summer or at the Chicago show

Matt: that Marine firing the thompson is the best figure of all the marines so far. Congrats on choosing a 1921 version instead of the 28 with compensator. Those japs look good to, are they special naval landing forces (marines), should have anchors on helmets instead of stars?........Stryker II

I got my first set of the Wake Island Marines today. I'm very pleasantly suprised. The painting on these figures is great. They have a really gritty weatherd look. I'll definitely be collecting this series. If you've been waiting for Pacific War figures, then you should certainly check these out.

I'm ordering the entire series, no matter how many they make.........Stryker II

Same here.
I've pre-ordered the entire series from Hobbybunker. And have asked them to ship every set you see in the photo Matt posted to China for me as soon as the Japanese landing craft is released. I then plan to purchase each new addition to the series.
This is a range I've been waiting for someone to release for a long time, so I'm really happy that Hobbybunker had the vision to recognise there's a market for Early Pacific War figures and accessories.
:)

Cheers
