I am looking for a bunch of stuff to pile to gather to build a baracde for a Napoleonic Penninsular battle diorama.
If you have any if the following in any condition, send me a PM please:
Old Britains farm Carts or Wagons (the bigger/more the better)
Any current plastic, metal, or resin/foam carts or wagons
Any barrels
Any Crates
Any furniture

I especially want the large old Britains hey cart for a big neat of Spanish guerrileros!

I'll be looking forward to seeing your diorama when completed, should be great !

Tradition of London do make a couple of items in their "Retreat to Corunna" 54mm Model figure range.

One is a cart, AC8L Cart Kit

the other is a wounded drummer boy AC8E Drummer 1st Foot Kit

I have both but still haven't had time to assemble and paint the kits, so have a look at them.

Check the Walthers Model Railroad catalog. They should have crates and barrels in 0 or G scale

The old lead wagons from Britains are very much sought after usually command a high price. They are are also 1:32 and glossy.

Have you had a look in the toy section of the dollar store? maybe in a bag of cowboys and Indians?

I have not-unfortunately, I don't know if there is much furniture/wagons there, but I will check. Since I don't care about the condition or finish on the wagons (I will repaint them), I am hoping to find some Britains ones for ok prices, but we will see.

Thanks! Providing I don't blow all my cash at Historicon, these sites will be getting some orders!

Hi, Sandor, you might also want to try Armand Bayardi. He makes diorama accessories in resin. His website is http://www.armandbayardi.com/brd/

If you go to Historicon, I think you'll find a vendor or two who have some of Armand's items, I remember one regular, who has a big bin full. But you can order direct from Armand, too. He used to go to the shows, but hasn't done so in several years.

I have some of his diorama pieces, and they are excellent. And I know you like to paint, so it's an opportunity to do some painting, too.

Also, there are diorama pieces by Verlinden, that would be appropriate, and Italeri. I have a village fountain by Italeri, it's kit 6401 in their catalog, that would work in Napoleonic scenes.

Hope that all helps, prost!

You may also want to try Spillway Toys. They are great to deal with and they have 54mm wagons and accessories. Their wagons are from a company LeMans. You may also want to try San Diego Toy Soldier. Two more sites Forty-Third and diorama accessories & groudwork supplies. Good Luck: "Mr Colt 45"
