There was a US distributor for Trophy Miniatures "The Toy Soldier" owned by Jim Hillested. His company logo was a Napoleonic French drummer boy wearing a bicorne hat. Trophy made a figure of the drummer boy and I've been trying to find one because I used to buy a lot of figures from Jim.
The figure comes up for sale on eBay from time to time, but I keep missing out on the auction. Recently I was bidding on a mixed lot of 4-5 figures, but was away from my iPhone as the auction ended so I forgot to enter a bid.
oh well. My thinking is that someone might have been interested in the other figures in the lot, less so than the drummer boy.
At any rate, if anyone has an extra drummer boy figure that they'd like to sell I would be a most appreciative buyer.
