War Helmets... (1 Viewer)

Looks like an Italian para helmet. Look at that price!!!!!

Wickedly rare.

Problem is (and I am not saying this is the case here!!) it is hard to check authenticity with an online auction. I personally would be wary of dropping that kind of cash on few photos and an item description that says :-

This helmet is in good condition. The pictures show every angle and side of the helmet.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!

This is suppossed to be a para helmet, yet there is no suspension system. Wouldn't the lack of the interior, especially in a para helmet, lower the value? Are these Italian helmets that rare that an incomplete one is still worth the big bucks this one realized? My goodness, what would a complete one be worth? Great item, but I am glad this isn't my interest. -- Al

Sometimes the buyer has a chance to see the item and knows the seller. In the past I have been offered an item and have seen it and the seller did not want to sell it at my price and then put on ebay. If I then want to bid I would.
