John's Sudan range looks very good.Saw a setup on a photo from another thread and looks great.

Really love those new Sudanese figures - especially the bald guy with the sword!

I guess I may have to reconsider starting to collect this series as well!

Thanks Mike, so close you can see the hairs in their noses. I am thinking that prone horse basking in the sun may come in use in some of my planned diorama's. The British are outnumbered, but no doubt there superior fire power will prevail. Plenty here to wait for before bothering John with my other Sudan thoughts. Cheers, Robin.

JJD are highly detailed. I thought the first Baqqara horseman was a pleasant surprise. Looks like a second casualty figure, very nice! The casualty figures are such a great addition for displays.
The figure with the two handed sword will make an excellent Kordofani tribesman for an Abu Klea display.
The key thing for me is the figures are easily mixed and matched with the Britains line.
