Good morning everyone,
I like the release of railway wagons; but can anyone tell me where is the steam locomotive from "war park" ???

Wark Park havent made a steam loco im afraid.

Only Figarti made one many years ago - now sought after.

so I use Piko and LGB G scale train engines with my Wark Park/Figarti train carriages. easy to find on ebay. prices range from $250 to $1000 depending on how big a loco you want.

When I first read this, the Figarti Train pieces came to mind, I bought the Morser, that cost me 400 dollars then, and the Locomotive was around a hundred dollars more, so now that might have at least doubled in price, and the sheer size of the box of the Morser is a little under two feet, and the Locomotive will easily beat that plus the weight of it will be heavy.
So it will cost quite a bit... Anyway, I hope you find one, if you do decide to hunt for one..

So for so good; "WAR PARK" German train wagons = OK
German Locomotive = NOK
Feels like a cafe without beer.
Hopefully that locomotive will arrive one day. Because with that Figarti locomotive, many collectors have been left out in the cold...!

I know its far from this thread, but Figarti at its Hey days as most would know, was known for making large pieces, some are even called "Shock and Awe" namely(I know I will miss something):
LST
K-5
German Patrol Boat
So the Locomotive sets was their Scaled down releases(not so big), and their Tanks etc..Are special too.Rick (the owner of Figarti) Did great!!!... And his releases are really missed..

That is close to the scale, and it's In the same Timeline.

Close, sure but for collectors to dig their hands in their pockets then War Park need to purchase one themselves and do a photo shoot, unless they intend producing one themselves.

...that will be quite an investmen, pretty close to the Shock and Awe pieces that Figarti offered.

I posed this question to the War Park rep when the rail car series began; he mentioned the possibility of doing a smaller locomotive as a large one would be expensive to make.

We had this conversation quite a while ago, not sure if their position has changed, not meaning to speak for them, but that's what he said at the time, so we'll see.

So, I just went to one of the biggest model train shows in the world, and after surveying the large-scale makers, I think LGB would be an excellent fit for our hobby. Their stuff comes in at around 1/30, not too large like some other G-Gauge makers. It is obviously very expensive — see the engine here: https://www.lgb.com/products/detail...ce]=73&cHash=09aa1c065c346bd329af68c764a09225

Fortunately, you can find used stuff on eBay for reasonable prices: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3352258510...jcftT-xT7m&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Thanks for Your reply. LGB trains have a scale close to 1:22.5 and 1:24. That's why I suspect that Scale 1 (1:32) is better ! ; and closer to the figures released by War Park (1:30). In that scale 1 or 1:32 (45mm track), there is a huge choice of German steam locomotives, used during WWII; such as Types: BR50 / BR52 / BR44 ...
Well-known brands are: KM1 / Marklin / ESU / Spur1AT / Jagerndorfer

G scale mentioned earlier in the thread has to bevtoo big for 1/30 scaled miniatures.
Wonder how the gauge of, for example Piko G scale track compares to the molded track pieces available from War Park…

Figarti did a German Reich railways engine in black & red, rare but definitive model to source.
