I am curious to know what other members are planning to do with Britains Zulu War offerings once they hit the shelves in the coming months. Will ye' be getting the matte figures, the gloss figures, or both? I personally am not sure, though am leaning toward the matte figures and only the wagon from the gloss series as I need a wagon for my LL and Trophy glossies to play on.:)

This gives a indication:

I'll probably get both. I'm trying to finally purchase that Modelzone set tonight after several failed attemps thus kicking off the gloss range.

I need to add that I was looking into buying other brands earlier this year but I didn't because of the WB releases. I'm a little WB minded right now. Not a bad thing imho.

ps I really hope WB doesn't do a lot of those retailer exclusives . That's the reason I stopped collecting movie memorabilia. Ok enough on the MZ exclusive .

Oh, yes now I see y'all have done a survey already and everything. With everything else to acquire this winter and spring (new WB Crimea, JJ FIW and 1812, etc...plus lord knows what else WB will show us in their next catalog and the requisite periodic LL Zulu item) I think I can only afford one or the other.

I tend towards the glossy Zulu series as I am very pleased with Britain's glossy Redcoats, Bluecoats and FIW items as well as the Victoris Cross sets, both from the Indian Mutiny and the Crimean War.
There are too many figures, manufacturers out there to collect, so I guess that for me both matte and glossy is not an option.
