Ok we are willing to try and see if we can let those of you that are unable to attend this weekend the chance to see Louis's museum and see Andy talk. You would need a yahoo ID...mine is bwaeyaert. Please send me via PM your yahoo ID in advance so I know who you are. Then Louis will announce a time when Andy will talk if we have enough people interested in this option.

So, if you don't have a yahoo email address you can't access it?

It has nothing to do with establishing a email....its actually Yahoo messenger that is required to contact me and make the webcam connection. A yahoo ID and yahoo messenger is a free service. All that is required is singing up via www.yahoo.com.

Is it possible to download the presentation onto treefrog after the fact?

I do not think so....the webcam does not record. But i will look at my manual to see if creating a recording is possible. I know if someone had a digital video recorder then it may be possible to post a video file of the event. But I for one do not own that technology as of yet.

Louis has set the time for Andy’s talk on Saturday at 2pm EST. I have received 3 PM's with yahoo ID's already to give this a shot. I am not promising anything but its worth a try to let those of you not able to attend to view whats going on at the Symposium. :D

Dear Brian,
When you have the time, please post the procedure for getting the webcast. Is it merely sending you our Yahoo ID using Yahoo messenger?

My yahoo ID = bwaeyaert

If you have signed up or are a current member of yahoo messenger be online around 1:45 est. I will log on to yahoo around that time and turn on my webcam. you can then contact me via instant message.

Easiest way is to add me to you friends list (2 have already done this) then you should be able to see my webcam active by my name.

Hit view webcam and it should allow you to see once I grant access.

Again...in theory this should work but I make no promise that it will...but hey its worth a shot right?

Oops, my son has a lacroose game at that time and I'm the team manager.:( Of course, I have heard Andy speak many times.;)
