I just got back from 3 days at Gettysburg's annual Lincoln's Gettysburg Address Anniversary. While I'm not a Civil War buff, the 3 friends that I went with are. I came back with renewed interest and understanding of the conflict. On Saturday there was a parade of hundreds of reinactors: men, women and children. My hat is off to them for their dedication, it was like stepping back in time. These people stay in character and dress the whole weekend. Saturday night we went to the National Cemetery. Every grave had a burning candle and there are 1,000's of them. It was a weekend not to be missed if you're into the Civil War....
