A British WAAF and pilot's dog greet the Typhoon pilot as he returns to base....

Nice RAF airfield diorama! Who makes the Typhoon though?
Cheers,
Brendan

No doubt inspired by Guy Gibson returning in the film Dambusters.^&grin, Robin.

Now that is a plane that looks like it meant business. I always liked the contrast between this aircraft and the Spitfire - almost like the difference between an American muscle car and an Aston Martin.

The "muscle cars" also are more believable in displays with 1/30 figures (let alone 1/28) than the "sports cars." Really relieved that Britains does its in 54mm. Oh, and WB has more pilots in the pipeline:

TThe last one has already been released. Got one coming in the mail this week.

Your Typhoon is awfully nice, as is your display. I noticed that the starboard entrance is open, and the cowling panel is off. Details like that make a model much more interesting to look at and display, IMO. That opinion isn't completely non-controversial, BTW. A lot of model collectors want everything "locked-down." The most oft stated reason being that the additions make the plane more subject to loss and/or damage than a "clean" model. I lobby for the more elaborate rendering whenever possible. Sometimes I win; sometimes I lose.:redface2:
