Just moved house and setting up some figures for the first time in a long time.

I love those Jenkins figures - good poses and lots of colour.

And thank-you Jack for your help today in getting me going (finally) on taking pictures and the advanced science of posting them! Some of you with keen eye sight might think you've seen that barn before. And you'd be right! Waynpoo made it and it's seen more battles now than the British Empire!

Hey Jack - could you post some of the pics you took last week? I think you were able to achieve a bit more with your 21st Century camera.

The JJD Jacobite series are the best figures on the market. -- Al

Any set-up featuring the Jacobite range is a winner in my book !

:smile2:

Thanks guys - it's easy to be enthusiastic about this range. There's a fair number of figures available already and there's good prospects for for to come out in the future. Does anyone else have any photos they could put up? That other great thread about Prestonpans is a good example of what can be done with Jenkins 18th Century ranges.

Hi Larso.... with my last name as Robertson I just had to start my metal collection with a few of these figures.... and I'm very glad I did. Brett was most helpful and friendly and had no problems relieving me of my weeks wage....^&grin

all the best,
marc

Hi Marc,

As I've written a few times before, it was this Jenkins range (and the Conte Gordons) that finally got me onto metal figs. Before that I was mostly interested in the plastics too. I particularly like the TSSD figs these days but earlier on I grabbed a lot of Airfix, Accurate, Call to Arms and frankly a heap of others. For my next photo shoot I'm planning on setting quite a few of those up.
