Here's something new at Treefrog. Up until now everything we sold except for figure kits was out-of-the-box ready. But the diorama accessory lines we stock have proved to be so popular that we wanted to further expand the area.
Enter Hudson & Allen Studios. Owned and operated by Ken Osen and his wife Erika, this line of accessory kits has been around since 1990. You are all most likely aware by now that Ken is a sought-after sculptor in the industry but you may not have realized that his H&A product line is quite well-known in the 1/35th scale modeling world.
To begin with we are offering H&A products that can work well for 1/32nd and 1/30th scale as well as 1/35th scale and are relatively easy to assemble and use. Assembly is almost always required but Ken has included thorough instructions with each product as well as excellent background information as to what particular time period the articles may have been used in as well as where they would have been used. We have included much of this information on the item web pages.
Any modelers who currently use H&A products--Treefrog customers or not, will welcome this addition to the Treefrog site because there does not seem to be a single site on the entire internet that includes a comprehensive list of products along with pictures of the product. It's hard to buy with confidence if you can't see the product first. Well buy away at Treefrog because we have photographed every product in our own studio. There's not much to see since everything is in clear plastic bags but at least it gives an idea of what it looks like.
