This is the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia - a wonderfull area.

Not sure about the military miniatures just yet. The area doesn't seem to have that kind of interest but we'll be carrying all the other toys from our website. If things go well, I could see us expanding to other parts of the city and who knows...

Hi, all!

This is great news, I wish you much success!

As to the demand, I don't know much about demand in our corner of PA for the lines like K&C, Frontline, etc, beyond the collector community, but I know that 21st Century Toys and FOV were being sold in Wal-Marts in the area, and they seemed to be moving off the shelves. Maybe you'll be able to give those, and the newermakers' products, more visibility.

Prost!

Northern Liberties is a little different than the rest of the city for sure. These folks would be put off by the miniatures we all love here on this board so I really have to be sensitive to that.

I think there would be interest in this city for a soldier shop, if a reasonable rent can be obtained in Center City. But, that is extremely difficult as some neighborhoods are comparable to New York City rents.

Stay tuned, though - you never know...

Thanks for the best wishes - and Carlos, I am really happy to see you back. That car wreckage looked absolutely horrific.

Gid.

Gid,

Congrats on the opening! I am going to be coming to Phily to see my Sister in Law Jessie (the one on the ABC News) in May, so we will have to get together and I will have to visit the shop.

Thanks Lou,

It'll be good to see you again.

Last time we were in NYC was durning Thanksgiving.

Our x-mas season starts in late September - we just haven't had any spare time to get back to NYC. This website thing is crazy. The moment I step out is when all the new customers wanting to learn more about us call.

The plight of the small business person is that the best stuff happens when you use the bathroom, step out for a break or anywhere away from the computer or phone. Too funny.
