Hello, the Peninsula War series seems to have run out of steam and I would have loved some British infantry by JJD.

From the Wellington in India range, the 74th Regiment saw action in the Peninsula after India. How accurate would the figures be in a Peninsula War display?

Cheers.

The only thing I'd day is that from my understanding when the Regt deployed to the Peninsula after the Second Anglo-Maratha War, they would have worn the stovepipe shako rather than the round hat that they wore in India. I think Jenkins' War of 1812 Royal Scots would be a better fit for the Peninsula although they wear the Belgic shako.

Exactly my thoughts, that is why I got hold of that group of figures, they make a great 'firing line' and there is also JJD Royal Artillery to provide fire support !!!

We are opening our Wellington in India this XMas.
Hoping for Rao Scindia, enemy casualties, a filagree cannon with some Goan gunners and maybe an elephant.
But for now we will enjoy the 40+ men we have...
Happy Collecting! We love Nap in Egypt and now we have more Nap colonials!
Best Wishes
