First Legion is pleased to announce the pre-order of the latest figures in our Napoleon's Europe Mounted Personality sub-range. This time on the allied side of the field it's the Iron Duke himself, NAP0237 Field Marshal Wellington along with NAP0238 Major General John Ormsby Vandeleur. These two new figures when added to Uxbridge and Orange, bring the total of Allied High Command at Waterloo up to four figures. Slowly but surely, the entire staff will be presented.

On the French side of the battlefield, it's the "bravest of the brave", NAP0239 Field Marshal Michel Ney along with NAP0240 French Aide-de-Camp, both presented leading the massed French cavalry charges up the Mont St. Jean slope at the allied squares at Waterloo.

These four figures are Special Collectors Sets of only 180 each to be produced and will be shipping to customers mid September 2010. We sincerely hope you enjoy them!

NAP0237 Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley - Duke of Wellington - $139.95
NAP0238 Major General Sir John Ormsby Vandeleur - $139.95
NAP0239 Field Marshal Michel Ney - $159.95
NAP0240 French Aide-de-Camp Charging - $159.95

And you were able to deliver the first two for 140$ (less than Uxbridge/Colbert). Very very nice :)

Wonderful new additions, I think the Ney figure is my favourite. I love the motion of his horse.

Amazing work as always Matt! I don't think anyone can top First Legion's mounted figures.

A couple of the French Cuirassiers were also posed with only one leg on the ground. But, you are correct, these are really impressive!

;) But Ney will be the first one we'll actually get our greedy mitts on

Not true gentlemen, almost all of the French Carabiniers are also standing on only one leg. NAP0073, NAP0074, NAP0075, NAP0078, NAP0079, and NAP0080 which totally defies gravity! :D

So this is something we've done before and will do again with the Cuirassiers.

Best,

Matt

At last, my first pre-order ever with any company! Wellington and Ney in September and I snuck in a samurai archer as well...!!!:):):)

I am not collector of the command groups or officers, at least until finances change, but the Aid de Camp is a special work of art. I think that he will be a definite purchase. Great job Matt.

Whoa , Must have had a senior moment  The Carabiniers never even crossed my mind... totally forgot all about em . I guess looking at Ney was like a sucker punch  , thank God it just staggered me ;) I regained my composure long enough to place my pre-order .. . All the best Gebhard
