Wetting of Sandors stripes (1 Viewer)

Couple photos here of a ceremony we held last week to celebrate one of our Treefrog members earning his stripes. Sandor, home on Holiday leave from the Valley Forge Military Academy, was taken out to dinner by our local figure collectors club and put through the traditional "Wetting of the Stripes" ritual. Water instead of wine, but still makes the point in recognizing the accomplishment by peers. Afterwards we went to Sandors home and had a great time looking at his fine collection of soldiers and close to my heart....NAPLOEONIC artifacts.

Congrats Sandor..........we look forward to your next promotion
