As a new Thomas Gunn collector that has collections and diorama's that are always a work in progress can we hope to see:

In the Napoleonic range I would love to see the Prussians. Blucher and his army were one of the three main players at Waterloo and my modern 60M matte display only has very limited representation via Del Prado and GM Miniatures. This particular display includes all the KC Napoleonic's minus a few recent French foot soldiers. Again, It is missing the Prussian led by Gebhard. My Del Prado's are actually KC painted and blend in well. The GM's are good too but few. First Legion's are wonderful but too small at 54M to work ion my 60M display. So how about a run of Prussian soldiers!!! Infantry; Foot Guard; Grenadiers; Horse Guard; Cavalry; Artillery. Personality pieces like Blucher; Ziethen.....Karl Von Clausewitz!. Let us not forget in the words of Sir Arthur Wellesley......................."Give me night or give me Blucher"

Here is hoping for Napoleonic Prussians en masse!!!!Some Day

Hi Bayern,
welcome from another newbie and Naps collector. It is easy to lament having missed that which has already been produced and retired but the truth of it is that there are unlimited units yet to see the light of day - we just need to get over Waterloo {sm2}and get on with Wagram, Marengo, Austerlitz etc etc and the myriad colorful uniforms of the various empires. Happy collecting and roll out the Prussians - why not them? After all, the 28mm branch has recently rediscovered them.{sm3}{sm4}

Ludwig,

thanks for raising this thread, and like you, I'd love some Prussians to go with a Waterloo diorama.

Thomas Gunn is making some great NAPs, I've got them all, and they fit in micley with my K&C series, so I'm sure with encouragement like yours and others, Tom may see his way to making some for us ???

K&C will probably not do Prussians so TG could really fill this gap. In addition to Waterloo they can be used for Leipzig and the 1814 campaign for France.

Thanks for your response and info. Bring me more TG Naps!!!

I agree with you on KC not making the Prussians. The rumor is that they think that they will not sell well being the uniforms are somewhat plain. Hard to believe as Germans seem to float everyone's WW1 and WW2 boats for sales. Everyone likes the bad guys!!

KC's Napoleonic Range is so off balanced with so many French ( well other then the endless appearances of highlanders......). It is because they are colorful, sought after because there are so many of us Napoleon lovers, and.......they sell. It appears their Nap line is going to dwindle over higher market costs?. No offense to anyone......make good Naps and I will buy everyone's!

Yes I believe this could be a big hit for Thomas Gunn. I think TG would do the best job out of any modern manufacturer available. Any decent soldier maker can make a peacock look good, but it takes the best to make plain uniforms look real!
