I believe the figure holding the eating utensils was altered a bit just for that particular caption contest. I think John simply glued the items on the figure's hands. As you see below, he is originally a part of a prisoner set:
As for this year's caption contest (#14), I have not heard a thing about the winners and everyone else I've contacted hasn't heard anything either. I believe John is concentrating more on the production side of things lately and doesn't have time to address the contest. I am sure he knows about it and will eventually get around to announcing the winners. This is not the first time he's been late in announcing contest winners. I am sure we will hear something about it by year end.

I was referring to the central ones , the one with helmet and mess tin and the other with cigarette...i have all the catalogues and checklists and they are nowhere to be found...
