It was smaller than I remembered in the past as it has been a few years since I attended. I purchased a wonderful 1/32 scale all brass ,painted WW 1 S.E.5A for a show price of only 95 bucks. Absolutely gorgeous piece, which I promptly gloss sprayed to match my growing WW 1 collection...Michael :)

I found the show disappointing but I didn't have any great expectations here. I bought a DD 07B Military Policeman and a WS 12 figure from George and WS 08 from Gettsyburg, a bit more than I wanted to pay but fell in love with the set. Also got an Osprey book on Dieppe. I'm not sure a 6 hour ride was worth it, however.

1)The much discussed HB Panther
2) KC Panzer IV
3) a new St. George's figure of Luftwaffe Ace Marseille in N. Africa uniform -100+ kills using average of 15 rounds per kill. There were several left as of Friday.
4) St. Petersburg Roman figure.

Did anyone see the Britains display of WWI figures? I don't follow them or much care for Britains but these looked interesting. Wasn't sure if it is a new line.

I think all the items that Richard Walker was showing is new. None of that was for sale, just to drum up interest. I liked the WW I very much. Would love to buy it.

Northwest Trading was also showing images of a WW 1 line with a Renault Tank coming soon, all in matte finish. Darn, better buy some more gloss spray.....Michael

Darn, I missed that it. Isn't that the one in polystone?

I walked away with K&C FOB001-FOB010. I agree that the WWI sets at the show looked good. I have been looking around for WWI sets lately and have been considering the ones from Beau Geste. They seem to have a good variety, and are the only people who's figures I prefer in gloss finish.

They are fine pieces, but I have started to collect Fusilier minatures ,as well as Britains, and some Camp Randall. He has some unigue stuff and his scenic buildings are reasonable. Try B.Sager's site for those...Michael
