I've been collecting for about a year and I have many of the recent AK series. I've looked on Sager's website and noticed that AK 10, 12, 14 & 15 aren't listed.

Why is that? Is it becuase he simply didn't have pictures of those sets or was it they weren't ever made?

If they were made, what were they and does anyone have pictures of them?

Thanks,

Carlos

They weren't made. They're not listed in the catalogue. For some reason he skipped over the numbers just like he did with WS 61. It's something that should be asked at the Symposium.

Hey Guys,
Those sets were never made. Andy responded to the WS61 set a long time ago on the forum and said he never made one. I am not sure why he skipped the AK sets. I would like to know myself?

Thanks Jazzeum for the info. It does seem weird that there is a gap in the numbering scheme.

I just had a thought. A few weeks ago Tony Neville was running an auction on Live Bid for a special King and Country UK only AK figure. Tony, did that have a special number, perhaps AK 10?

The figures for the UK Collectors Club had their own designations, e.g. Year-MIL for a WWII set, Year-CIV for a civilian set (usually Streets of Old Hong Kong). In 2003 for example, the 03-MIL was the MP from the EA05 set, the 03-CIV was a special paint job version of the gift-givers from the HK series, and there was a 03-NAP French figure released as part of the toe-in-the-water on the Napoleonics. That was the last year of the scheme, and as far as I'm aware the 01-MIL was a special repaint of the NCO from the WS27 patrol, and was never part of the AK series.

Louis may well have the prototypes of the sets in the AK series that were not produced. My own suspicion is that they were Fallschirmjager repaints rather than vehicles.
