ONTC started with some fine figures in WW2 range then never did anything else. No figures, no accessories, artillery, vehicles, NOTHING! What's the deal?

Thanks,

Gary

I think trying to compete with K and C for WWII dollars is economic suicide. NMA have gone, HB is trying to create a niche. FOV have sold out to Walmart and Britains seem to have gone quiet with WWII. I realize that the ONTC were 54 mm but I just think that most WWII collectors are spending their money with K and C.

A partner and the main sculptor, Ken Osen, got involved with Britains and no longer had time, so I understand they parted amicably. ONTC recently released a new ACW set.:)

Actually I,m glad they stopped. I collected their WW2, but it was really before K&C started going nonstop with WW2 releases.
Which means, K&C comes first, so now I don,t have to even think of makeing a choice.
However I love ONTC,s WW1 line. With the later war uniforms. Those sets will get my bucks.

Their new WW1 scenics look really nice, better than those offered by JG or Build-a-Rama in my opinion.

I stopped in Mi toy Soldier shop the other day and was told there will be more WWII stuff coming out but right now the focus was on WWI.

I know ONTC does WWII in 54 not 60mm but with the rate that K and C bring out new WWII stuff there doesn't seem to be much room for another company in that era. Tere is no-one else doing classic WWI (Battle of teh Somme, Verdun and Passchendale) at the moment so the field is wide opne there. I will be interested to see what WB does with WWII.
I have several ONTC WWII sets and they are great but K and Cnow release WWII every month almost.

I was told that WB is coming out with more WWII in July. :):):):):). I also just bought my first ONTC set (ETO-02 Panzers Forward) off of ebay for $66.50:):):):):).

That is correct...I am sculpting full time for W. Britain and that company will be coming out with some WWII figures in late summer. These will work fine with the ones I sculpted for ONWTC while a partner in the company.
Keep in mind that the scenics now being released by ONWTC will work well with several different manufacturers products for WWI as well as WWII.
