Something a little different... It seems it has been awhile since K&C did any sign accessories. Would it not be cool to have a Dunkirk (Dunkerque) sign post for FOB or maybe an El Alamein for that famous railroad junction or numerous eastern front battles ie Moscow, Kursk, Stalingrad, Kharhov, Rostov, Budapest etc

Maybe they are not a big seller for K & C.

Just a sign of the times I guess.

I believe that most signs have been made as parts of other sets.

so you are thinking besides the caen and battle of the bulge signs they were always included in larger box sets which K&C has likely ended due to the rising costs of figures as they tend to sell as singles now...

Not necessarily. There was the Dday vandervoort figure with St mere eglise sign.

Battle of Bulge Bastogne set - 2 us figs and sign.

Dunkirk sign with stug fob set.

The only other one I can think of was the Arnhem sign which was done for the original Arnhem sets back in the 90s.

You're taking what I said out of context. I never said that K & C has decided to discontinue selling them as part of other sets or that they are now only sold as singles.

I have no idea how the Caen sign sold (the only one I`m aware of that was made on its own - I might be wrong though), but I would certainly welcome other signs of WWII iconic locations!

There was also the set of two germans, one on motorbike with a sign which was released at same time as the pontoon bridge!

I am guessing that all those who bought Canadian D-day troops likely bought that sign as well... myself included...

If you're not wedded to using the K&C signs, you could look at Verlinden's website; they make various sheets of signs for scale modelers, as well as posters, placards, etc. You might find signs for locations like Dunkirk and the battlefields of Market-Garden, as well as from other battlefields, that you could use.

Prost!
