What is a moderate? (1 Viewer)

I have been reading the forum for a short time. I have finally joined up. In reading postings I see reference to the term or those known as "moderates". Can someone explain this to me of what this means?

Moderators such as myself, Pat, Dave & then the owners Shannon & Peter Reuss are here to help ensure the forum runs smoothly and that the rules are being followed. We are here to help the members in anyway we can. Sometimes posts need to be moved to the proper areas of the forum (such as I did with this one) Sometimes they have to be deleted or edited as they break the forum rules.

Oder als Adjektiv, kann’s auch “mild” heissen, von ‘nem Klima, etwa, derweil “Moderator” kann auch womöglich ein Bockbier sein
